- Do not build your pond near a tree, the fallen needles of conifers and leaves in the fall will cause the formation of mud.

- Does not provide for your pond in a bowl, if it collects rainwater that washed the ground upstream and pollutes your space and relaxation.

- Think about the proximity of the supply system and electricity. Their access will be more difficult and expensive for a pool located at the bottom of your garden.

The address the deeper will be located between 60 and 90 cm from ground level.

NOTE the first level will be reserved for plants from the edge, and measure between 10 and 20 cm in height.

3 – Line the bottom of the basin of a hat garden for better protection and unfold the sheet. Stretch it as best you can, the presence of folds is often inevitable!

TIP: Place the sheet of the basin on a small layer of sand (5 to 6 cm thick) to avoid a sharp stones do drills.

4 – Slowly fill the basin of water to really straighten the sheet against the walls.

  • Filter cleans the pool by trapping organic particles suspended in the middle. It brews the water, promoting oxygenation and regulates its temperature.

Choose a model that allows the filtration of all water from your pool in three hours.

Planting your pond

  • It occurs between April and June.
  • Your oxygenating plants should be put in baskets.
  • You can also make your choice on Plant banks of river which does not bear a significant dip (at most 10 cm deep).

  • Koi 1 per m3 of water.
